About
A three-movement sonata for violin solo is meant to be a show-off virtuoso piece. First movement's exposition begins with a calm tonal theme A. Presto B theme doesn't follow in classical sense, at the end of A, but is gradually faded-in. In general, the sonata form is not charted as groups of melodic material but rather by articulation and other ways of performance. Second movement is slow with lenghty pedal tones, while the final movement enables the performer to show soloist's technical skills.
