About

The composition for tuba and prepared piano, written in 2022 and explores the onomatopoeia of the sea, diving, and the sounds that emerge in the liminal space between audibility and inaudibility. These are presented in the context of both the imaginary and concrete perception of a diver, before and during the descent beneath the water’s surface.
